Abeer Shhadeh

Since 2010, Abeer has dedicated her professional life to the field of Speech-Language Pathology. She received her bachelor's degree in Hearing & Speech Sciences from the University of Jordan She is a member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).

Over the years, Abeer's path has led her through a variety of settings. She has enriched her skills and knowledge by working in hospitals, private clinics, special needs organizations, and special education centers. This breadth of experience allowed her to serve a diverse group of young individuals, from children to youths, who were diagnosed with a range of speech-language disorders and learning difficulties. Familiar with a broad range of techniques and programs such as The Hanen Program (It Takes Two to Talk, More Than Words), PECS, Lidcombe Program, and Auditory Verbal Therapy, Abeer is well-equipped to handle the unique needs of every child she works with.

Despite her professional accomplishments, it's her family that truly fills her life with joy. Abeer cherishes the time spent with her beloved husband and son, Zaid, whether it's an outing with family and friends in nature or enthusiastically cheering on Zaid during his soccer practices. Abeer is not just a seasoned professional but also a dedicated wife and mother, bringing warmth and personal dedication to her work at Bright Speech.

Meet May Hussein, a seasoned and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist with over 19 years of dedicated experience in the field. Hailing from Jordan, May's journey began with a deep-seated commitment to transforming the lives of individuals grappling with communication disabilities.

Armed with a Master's Degree from the University of Jordan in Amman and a Bachelor's Degree from Applied Science University, May's credentials speak volumes about her dedication to the field. As a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Ontario, May has consistently upheld the highest standards of patient care while pushing the boundaries of speech pathology.

Throughout her career, May has held pivotal roles, including her tenure at Closing The Gap Healthcare in Mississauga. Here, she left an indelible mark by assessing and treating over 120 patients. Additionally, her time as a Speech Language Pathologist-Supervisor at the Jordanian Speech Clinic for Speech Therapy and Learning Difficulties in Al-Ain, UAE, showcased her expertise in addressing a number of communication disorders among children.

Renowned for her collaborative spirit, May seamlessly integrated into multidisciplinary teams, co-leading pragmatics groups and offering invaluable counseling sessions for families. Her influence extended to AI-Ain Hospital, where she administered diagnostic tests, organized specialized therapy sessions, and maintained patient progress records.

Beyond the clinic, May remains steadfast in her pursuit of excellence, continuously engaging in continuing education to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field. With an unwavering vision of a world where effective communication is accessible to all, May channels her expertise and passion into making a tangible difference in the lives of those she serves.
