Somayah Al-Ees is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and a certified member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC). She holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Jordan and a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing from King Saud University. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Toronto, with a research focus on resonance disorders.
Somayah brings over 10 years of experience working with children and youth in diverse settings, including schools, clinics, hospitals, and community centers. Her areas of expertise include language and literacy delays, articulation and phonological disorders, social communication challenges, and early intervention. She also has training in orofacial myology.
Fluent in both English and Arabic, Somayah is passionate about supporting multilingual and culturally diverse families. She uses evidence-based practices, standardized assessments, and a collaborative, family-centered approach to therapy.
Outside of work, Somayah enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, baking, exploring nature, and learning new things.
